The Osteria del Borgo, overlooks the central via Garibaldi in Carrù. It is a family run restaurant where everything is taken care of with love and attention.
The special dish of the restaurant is the mixed boiled meats which it is available all year and is served in heat-resistant white porcelain dishes. The meats are garnished with seven traditional sauces (Herb Sauce , Cogna Sauce, Hot Spicy Sauce, Garlic Sauce , Radish Sauce , Borgo’s House Sauce.
The menu is presented to you verbally and there is a wine list with over 300 different labels.
If you follow the hosts advice your meal will consist of three starters, of which one will be a raw meat albese style. Other suggestions may be sliced cooked veal with a tuna and mayonnaise sauce,a Russian salad (cubes of boiled vegetables with mayonnaise) or peppers with bagna caoda (oil, garlic and anchovy sauce) and other variables according to the season (caponet or stuffed courgette flowers ). Borgo’s pasta is home-made: tajarin (thin tagliatelle),ravioli plin style, dumplings with meat sauce , or mushroom sauce or butter and sage sauce.

In winter tripe soup is served. Our warm hospitality and care for our guests are our main priorities. For over ten years we have been using exclusively local produce for our restaurant which has been prepared by Giuseppina and Gianni, along with the help of their sons Daniel and Paul.
The inn is closed on Tuesdays evenings and on Wednesdays.
